Oil change less often with the use of biofuel. It is not only a greener cleaner form of energy but it can actually help clean the engine out of contaminants and build up.
There are a lot of really great reasons for converting a diesel engine to biofuel. Chief among them is of course the ability to reduce one's dependence on petroleum products and power the car with more clean and renewable resources. While it is not going to be a primary motivator for a lot of people there is another added benefit for the switch that most people may not realize. A converted vehicle has need for an oil change less frequently when using this other type of fuel.
As any diesel car owner knows it is necessary to have an oil change often with a traditional engine. That is because the fuel is high in sulfur and it quickly builds up within the lubricant. The resulting mixture becomes increasingly acidic and erodes the bearings and seals of the parts it is meant to be lubricating. It is understandable that one would want to remove the sulfuric acid that is coursing through the tubes and parts. This caustic mixture can wreak havoc if left unchecked but is not harmful if frequently rotated out.

It can flush out harmful build up and contaminants that were affecting performance. It can also improve the durability between removal and refill of the lubricant.
